Sunlight consist of seven colours
Double rainbow formation
Let's try out a simple activity.
Things required
1)A bucket
2)Water
All of us know that rainbow consist of seven colours.As a kid you might have wondered at the beauty of the rainbow.Have you ever thought about about the phenomenon behind this beauty of nature.It happens because of a process known as dispersion of light.The spectrum of colours you see in a rainbow can be seen easily at home.Try this out.Take a bucket and fill it up with water.Put it outside your home.Now take a handful of water and put it in your mouth.Now throw it against the sun.What do you observe?Try it again.Share your experience.
